PuckApp Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating a PuckApp account or buying NFC stickers, you confirm you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or make a purchase.

2. Your account

Every household member needs their own account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. The service and NFC tags

PuckApp consists of the mobile app and physical NFC tags you assign actions to yourself (e.g. a notification, adding a task). We are not responsible for the outcome of actions you configure, including automatic reorders if you enable them — check your configuration before relying on it.

4. Pricing and subscription

Current pricing is published on the PuckApp homepage. Tags and the app are billed separately: the starter pack (3 NFC tags) and every extra tag are one-time purchases, independent of which app plan you use. The app has a free Free plan with no tag limit, and an optional PuckApp PRO monthly subscription that unlocks extra features — you can subscribe right away, even with a single tag. You can cancel the subscription at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid period.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a sticker purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under applicable consumer-protection law. Stickers must be returned undamaged. Contact puckapp@sgsoftware.pl to start a return.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful purpose;
• configure actions meant to mislead, harass or harm other household members;
• try to read, copy or modify other users’ data without their consent;
• interfere with the service or bypass its safeguards.

7. Your content and configuration

Tag names and configured actions remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to store and process them solely to provide the service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of content you enter.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its code, design and the PuckApp brand belong to SG Software Development (Szymon Gaweł) or our licensors. These terms grant you no rights beyond a limited licence to use the app as intended.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, limit or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

10. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app or tags, in particular the outcome of automation you configure yourself. Nothing here excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app or via the deletion page. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence. We aim to resolve disputes amicably; otherwise the competent courts apply under applicable law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date always reflects the current version, and we will notify you in the app or by email of material changes before they take effect.
